The Role
The Role is a rare opportunity for an accomplished Employment Law specialist to lead and grow the firm’s Employment offering in the South West. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the local presence, building relationships with key clients, and contributing to the firm’s continued national success. Working alongside a first-tier Employment team, the Partner will deliver expert legal advice across a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Employment Law function in Bristol, driving business development and team growth.
* Advise employers on complex employment issues including contracts, disputes, and restructures.
* Manage high-value litigation, discrimination, and TUPE matters with a strategic, commercial approach.
* Represent the firm in networking events, pitches, and sector publications to enhance visibility and reputation.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with 10+ years’ PQE in Employment Law.
* Proven track record at senior level, ideally as a Legal Director or Partner.
* Strong client network within the South West region and confidence in business development.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with a pragmatic, client-focused approach.
