About the role
The rolefocusses on system support for the finance system (SUN) and the Group’s purchasing system (IPOS) and is key to ensuring thecompleteness and accuracy of the financial dataand that key financial controls are in place. The role will involve working closely with the finance team, IT, our external consultants, as well as the wider business.
The Finance Systems Officer will also provide an excellent service to the department’s customers with the provision of financial information and system support. The role will involve writing and creating reports to be used by the financial reporting team for internal, external and Board reporting of financial information.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have strong IT knowledge and experience of general ledger work within a large company, along with a practical understanding of management accounting principles and techniques.
The ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate experience of managing a challenging workload in a busy environment to meet all deadlines, as well as excellent customer service. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
