What the Bookkeeper job involves
Managing bookkeeping for a variety of clients (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies)
Preparing VAT returns and management accounts
Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
Liaising with clients to answer queries and provide guidance
Supporting the wider team with ad-hoc accounting duties
If you’ve previously run your own bookkeeping business, your ability to manage relationships, prioritise workloads, and deliver high-quality service will make you a perfect fit here.
Skills required
Proven bookkeeping experience within a practice environment OR as a self-employed bookkeeper with your own clients
Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping principles and VAT
Strong IT skills and experience using accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks etc.)
A friendly, approachable manner and a genuine desire to help clients succeed
Attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy

Full time Monday to Friday
