What You’ll Do
Role: Full-time Team Manager to coach and support our 7a team to deliver inspiring and meaningful social care. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of person-centred support, managing staff performance, and maintaining service quality in line with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
* Service Delivery & Support
o Lead and coordinate person-centred activities and support plans.
o Promote independence and inclusion through education, employment, volunteering, and leisure opportunities.
o Ensure effective keyworker support and maintain high-quality documentation.
* Team Leadership & Management
o Supervise and develop a team of support staff.
o Manage rotas, timetables, and referrals within budget.
o Lead service reviews and act as the main point of contact for families and partner organisations.
* Communication & Partnership
o Communicate effectively with customers, families, and professionals.
o Foster strong relationships with external agencies including social care, health, and housing services.
* Health, Safety & Compliance
o Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, medication procedures, and safeguarding protocols.
o Participate in audits and inspections (e.g. CQC, Health & Safety).
* Learning & Development
o Support staff development through training, coaching, and career pathways.
o Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
What You’ll Need
* Level 5 in Social Care (or equivalent)
* Strong communication, leadership, and IT skills
* Experience in social care and a passion for people
* Knowledge of relevant legislation and person-centred approaches
* Competence in Total Communication and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
