When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. But that is not all. Your work also helps ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors. In this role, you will manage and monitor Key account Customers and ensure compliance with all agreed company policies. You will also ensure that the needs of QuickSTAT customers are being satisfied consistently and that excellence in customer service is promoted throughout the organisation while working collaboratively with Operations and Sales.
How you create impact
1. Effective communication with all staff and cooperation within the senior management team.
2. Maintaining all QuickSTAT Client functionality ensuring compliance with agreed procedures.
3. Maintain professional manner towards all staff, seeking at all time to implement and maintain company policy.
4. Seek to resolve inter-departmental questions and issues as they arise and without conflict.
5. Adhere to all company policies, at all times.
6. To undertake any other reasonable duties/responsibilities at the request of the Department Manager or other Senior Management.
7. Monitor existing Quality Control procedures for compliance and effectiveness.
8. Report ineffective procedures to the respective Department Manager.
What we would like you to bring
9. Proven experience in biopharma or specialist courier operations with strong customer service exposure
10. Comprehensive knowledge of courier and freight operations, including import/export, warehousing, and transport
11. Strong understanding of temperature-controlled packaging solutions for pharmaceutical logistics
12. Knowledge of country-specific regulations governing pharmaceutical importation and exportation
13. Solid grasp of global geography, time zones, and transit milestones
14. Proven problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to perform under pressure
15. Demonstrated leadership, planning, and team-motivation abilities, with strong communication skills
