SUPPORT WORKER - SHAP, LINCOLN
Position: Permanent, 37 hours, Grade 2 AS - £24,398 FTE

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our new homeless provision in Lincoln City. Our 15-bed accommodation service supports adult men and women with histories of sleeping rough or who are vulnerably housed, experiencing Severe and Multiple Disadvantage. We aim to provide longer-term housing solutions through the Government's SHAP Programme to help individuals recover from rough sleeping and related traumas.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide face-to-face and one-to-one informal support, addressing a wide range of individual needs.
* Respect the rights and responsibilities of Service Users.
* Advise Service Users to make informed decisions and choices.
* Build skills and confidence in Service Users.
* Collaborate with support planners to ensure support plan objectives are achieved within agreed timeframes.
* Assist Service Users with issues related to their accommodation, including repairs, disputes, debts, and rent arrears.
* Support with move-on accommodation processes.
* Promote and embody the Organisation's values: Respond, Respect, Empower.
* Identify personal development needs and seek opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
