Job Details Do you have a Catering qualification such as an SVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent as this is essential for this post. In this catering post, you would be responsible for all activities in the kitchen and its surrounds including cooking, organisation and supervision of food service. Supervising staff working in the kitchen. You must be aware of HACCP procedures and ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted according. Understanding dietary and nutritional needs. Duties may also include transporting and serving of meals, general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up, setting up and clearing away equipment and tables), cleaning of the kitchen and it’s surround. We have a temporary vacancy to join our team at Newport Primary School: Working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 3:00pm on a 38-week term-time only basis. Temporary for 1 year, with the potential for extension. You will earn a competitive salary of £26,786.83 to £29,170.80 pro-rata and annualised payments with access to a range of benefits, including: £14.27 per hour to start, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. Pay is annualised for term-time contracts (equal instalments every 4 week pay period). Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland). You will be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post. Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
