We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Warehouse Administrator in our Belfast Operation.
The successful candidate will be joining a successful and growing company and work in an exciting and busy environment.
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Managers, this role delivers an outstanding and efficient administration service to our Belfast Operations terminal. The person will be a key player in ensuring excellent communication to the Warehouse Operations Managers and customer service department in areas of resource management, customer relationships, compliance and good corporate governance.
This is a permanent full time role with the hours of 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Salary Circa £30,000
Duties & Responsibilities
Resource Management
· Monitor labour utilisation including agency requirements and organising the same;
· Book inbound traffic and allocating slots taking account of warehouse capacity and resources;
· Attend daily operational planning meetings to ensure inbound traffic is considered in terms of key rent and demurrage and to actively plan for intake
· Provide cover for Ships Agency work e.g. booking pilots, boatmen or boarding vessels on behalf of the ships agent;
· The timely ordering of necessary consumables required for the efficient and safe running of the site ensuring all purchase order protocols are adhered to.
Customer Service Orientation
· Work collaboratively with customer services to ensure and assist in meeting customer service levels;
· Respond to customer requests and updating customers promptly and accurately;
· Build and maintain a strong relationship with Belfast Port operations team.
Relationship Management
· Monitoring key accounts and reporting KPIs;
· Send out daily internal operational management reports;
· Ensure stock reconciliations are sent to appropriate and relevant people within the agreed the frames;
· Responding to customer queries and requests;
· Ensure prompt and full reporting of team absences to Human Resources.
Compliance & Corporate Governance
· Deliver site induction for all new arrivals on site;
· Ensure that training files are up to date identifying where gaps exists, refreshers are required and organising the same;
· Collating defect sheets for plant and equipment ensuring service calls are made and maintain accurate records of same;
· Good record keeping of holiday request and employee absences;
· Ensure return to work interviews are completed.

Essential Criteria:
· Full UK Driving Licence;
· GCSE grade C and above In English and Maths;
· Proficiency in using Microsoft office products, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word;
· Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise own workload;
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to give and receive information effectively;
· Ability to work flexibly in an environment with competing demands and deadlines from both internal and external stakeholders;
· Experience of managing high volumes of data and managing / prioritising deadlines;
· Experience of providing high quality service to both internal and external customers.
Desirable Criteria:
· Experience of working within a logistics / warehouse business.
