Location - Manchester (Hybrid Working)
Salary - £45-£55k
Job Summary
Planning and performing, audit testing, and completing external audits of small and medium sized companies and charities
Training, supervising, and reviewing the work of assistants
Supporting and reporting to the manager
Preparation of financial statements for charities, and small and medium sized companies as part of the audit engagement if desired
Preparation of corporation tax calculations if desired
Ad-hoc assignments as necessary. This may include working for other MC offices, FDD, cashflow forecasts etc.
Desired skills
At least least 12 - 24 months’ experience in a similar role
ACA or ACCA qualified
Strong communication skills and confident in speaking to clients, managers, and assistants
Experience in using CCH Accounts Production, CCH Audit Automation, and Alphatax. Preferred but not essential, as full training will be given
Attention to detail, and technical ability
A desire to learn and develop skills
