Dental Practice Lead (3 days per week) – Abbeymount

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Dental Practice Lead to lead our busy and welcoming dental practice in Edinburgh.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident manager with strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and supporting a high-performing dental team.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily running of the dental practice
* Manage staff rotas, recruitment, training, and performance
* Ensure excellent patient experience and customer service
* Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control standards
* Support the clinical team and dentists with operational management
* Monitor KPIs, budgets, and practice performance
* Handle patient enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally
* Ensure compliance with General Dental Council and NHS standards where applicable
* Coordinate stock control, equipment servicing, and practice administration
* Prepare practice for Practice Inspection and work to inspection guidelines at all times.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in dental practice management
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Knowledge of dental software systems and practice operations
* Understanding of compliance, NHS standards, and infection control
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Professional, approachable, and patient-focused attitude
Desirable Qualifications
* Dental nursing qualification and/or GDC registration
* Management or leadership qualification
* Experience working within NHS and/or private dentistry
