Branch Manager - Belfast - Permanent An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Branch Manager to join a leading supplier of tools, machinery and engineering equipment in Belfast. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy branch, leading the team across sales, customer service, stock management and administration while driving performance and ensuring a consistently high standard of service. About the role: £42,000 per annum Monday to Friday Sector: Tools & Machinery Locally owned company Permanent role What you'll be doing in this role: Lead and motivate a small in‑store team, including supporting an external sales representative. Coach, manage, and develop staff to ensure strong performance and continual improvement. Foster a positive, collaborative working environment. Build strong customer relationships and ensure excellent service is consistently delivered. Take a hands-on approach to supporting trade counter sales and resolving customer queries. Oversee daily operations including sales processing, customer account management, and general administration. Ensure effective stock control, ordering, and replenishment. Work closely with other branches, warehouse teams, operations, and sales departments to maintain efficient workflow. What you'll need for this role: Experience working within the engineering industry. Previous management or supervisory experience within a trade counter or retail environment. Demonstrated ability in managing and controlling stock effectively. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask. Hands‑on and flexible approach to work.
