We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair services to our clients while ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills in hairstyling, makeup application, and customer service, all while contributing to the overall success of our salon.
Responsibilities
* Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs and preferences.
* Perform makeup application for special occasions or events as requested by clients.
* Upsell salon products and additional services to enhance the client experience and boost salon revenue.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitised and in good condition.
* Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and managing client inquiries.
* Mentor junior stylists or trainees, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.
* Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling, makeup application, and beauty products to provide informed recommendations to clients.
* Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication.
Skills
* Proficient in various hairstyling techniques including cutting, colouring, barbering,
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs.
* Experience in upselling products and services within a salon environment is highly desirable.
* Ability to manage store operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of service.
* A keen eye for detail and creativity in hairstyling and makeup application.
* Previous mentoring experience is an advantage, helping to develop less experienced team members.
