Role Overview: As a Renewals Coordinator you will be an integral part of the team, responsible for managing lease renewals and ensuring the continuity of their resident's tenancies. You will play a crucial role in maintaining high occupancy rates and maximising resident satisfaction by facilitating smooth and efficient renewal processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a passion for customer service and property management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proactively engage with tenants nearing the end of their lease agreements to discuss renewal options and negotiate terms
2. Prepare and send lease renewal notices in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
3. Liaise with landlords and tenants to address any concerns or requests related to lease renewals
4. Coordinate property inspections and maintenance activities as needed to prepare for lease renewals
5. Update and maintain accurate records of lease renewal agreements and related documentation
6. Monitor rental market trends and advise management on pricing strategies and lease terms
7. Collaborate with the leasing team to identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling additional services to tenants
8. Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
9. Stay informed about relevant legislation and industry best practices related to lease renewals and tenant rights
Requirements:
10. Previous experience in property management, leasing, or customer service roles preferred
11. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle difficult conversations diplomatically
12. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
13. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and property management software
14. Knowledge of landlord-tenant laws and regulations, particularly related to lease agreements and renewals
15. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
16. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service to residents
