Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Owner to work at the forefront of our exciting Ascend Sandbox Product within our Platform, Software and Analytics.
You will be part of a high-performing and fast paced product team that delivers the product backlog of the Ascend Sandbox Roadmap. You will work closely with both Product managers and Software Engineers to both maintain existing features and usability as we as looking to drive new and cutting edge technology to scale further in existing and new exciting addressable markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. You will be hybrid based reporting to the Domain Product Owner
2. Drive the agile team to develop quality solutions that deliver the business value
3. Collaborating effectively to support and enhance the full product lifecycle
4. Collaborate with the Product Manager to create Epics and break them down into User Stories
5. Agree the Definition of Done, drive quality acceptance criteria and ensure the team meets both on completed epics/stories
6. Leading refinement and pointing sessions
7. Backlog prioritisation, refinement and management
8. Lead/actively participate in agile ceremonies including big room planning, sprint planning, sprint review etc
Qualifications
9. Significant experience of working as a Product Owner or equivalent experience
10. Significant experience of the full development lifecycle and Agile ceremonies
11. Strong knowledge of JIRA
Working knowledge of AHA
12. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain solutions to technical and non-technical audiences
13. The ability to work with offshore teams from different cultures and background
14. The ability to write clear Epics / User Stories with appropriate acceptance criteria
15. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse problems and requirements
