SEN Learning Support Assistant (1:1)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work 1:1 with a pupil in a primary school in Maldon.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference to a child’s educational experience.
The Role
1. Provide 1:1 support tailored to the individual needs of the pupil
2. Support learning, engagement, and emotional wellbeing
3. Implement strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO
4. Assist with personal, social, and behavioural development
5. Work closely with teaching staff and external professionals
We Are Looking For
6. Experience supporting children with SEN ( ASD, ADHD, SEMH, physical or learning needs)
7. A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
8. Reliability, commitment, and professionalism
9. Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Compliance Essentials
To be considered, candidates must have:
10. Two professional references
11. Enhanced DBS (sighted or on the Update Service)
12. Right to Work in the UK
