Aircraft Refuelling Technician – Full Time (Shift-based)
Bournemouth International Airport is recruiting Aircraft Refuelling Technicians to join our professional Airfield Operations team.
This is a hands-on, safety-critical role at the heart of airport operations. You’ll be responsible for aircraft into-plane refuelling and fuel storage activities, ensuring every task is carried out safely, compliantly and to the highest operational standards.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver safe and compliant aircraft refuelling operations
* Support fuel storage and stock control activities
* Maintain accurate fuel movement and sales records
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental and regulatory standards
* Act as a professional first point of contact for airline customers
* Follow emergency procedures where required
* Participate in training to maintain technical competence
You’ll work across both Aircraft Refuelling and Fuel Storage operations.
This role operates on a varied shift pattern including early starts, late finishes, weekends and occasional overtime. Flexibility is essential to support operational coverage.
What We’re Looking For
* HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* Strong customer service skills
* Good written and verbal communication
* Accurate numerical and data entry skills

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexible approach to shift working
