Are you passionate about food quality, safety, and continuous improvement? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your expertise makes a real difference? We're looking for a Quality Control Specialist (QCS) to join our UK Private Label operations in Market Drayton.
What You'll Do
As a QCS, you'll be the go-to expert for all things Quality Control, supporting our Unit Team to meet the highest standards in food safety, hygiene, and product excellence. You'll:
* Champion quality across the site, ensuring compliance with food law, retailer standards, and GMP.
* Coach and guide Unit Team members on QC practices and introduce them to QA principles.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders, including QA teams and Dairy Technologists, to troubleshoot and optimise processes.
* Lead by example on the shop floor-spotting issues, sharing insights, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
* Own the QC process - from raw materials to finished products - ensuring everything meets spec and is ready for release.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver QC oversight for testing, logging, and reporting of food and packaging.
* Support inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Bring
