As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you’ll support our mission by delivering insight, driving performance, and shaping strategic decisions that make a real difference.
Responsibilities
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across the business, translating financial insights into strategic action.
* Partner with commercial teams to shape business performance, influence key decisions, and unlock growth opportunities by leading cross‑functional collaboration.
* Deliver sharp financial analysis and forecasting that drives profitability and operational excellence.
* Produce monthly client P&L statements and profitability reports to support performance reviews with business owners in order to drive improvements in profitability.
* Provide clear, actionable financial insights to support strategic initiatives and commercial planning, including identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending ways to optimise performance and efficiency.
* Drive improvements in reporting tools, dashboards, and planning processes.
* Contribute to month‑end reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term financial planning cycles.
* Liaise with FP&A and Financial Control teams to ensure integrity of financial data.
* Devoted to the FCA principle of Consumer Duty, ensuring good customer outcomes across all aspects of services that may impact customers.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in complex financial analysis with a demonstrable track record of business partnering.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence at all levels including non‑finance stakeholders.
* Proactive, analytical mindset with a passion for solving problems and driving change.
* Confidence working with large data sets, financial models, and performance metrics.
* Collaborative approach and a desire to make a tangible impact on business outcomes.
* Advanced Excel skills and experience in reading and designing financial models.
* Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Workday, Oracle) and BI tools.
* ACCA/CIMA qualified with significant post‑qualification experience.
