Your new company We are currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Officer or Compliance Assistant to support the Property Services team of a respected Housing Association in Ayrshire. This role is a temporary replacement for a staff member currently absent and is expected to run for at least 3 weeks, with a strong likelihood of extension.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of compliance within a housing or property-related environment. Your new role In this role, you will help ensure the smooth running of the organisation's full compliance function, including: Leading in the delivery of an efficient and effective compliance service for the Property Services team Ensuring accurate processing and timely updates of all asset data, landlord safety certificates and property-related certification Maintaining and updating detailed compliance records, ensuring all information is accurately filed and accessible Supporting the analysis and reporting of compliance KPIs, helping the organisation monitor performance and identify improvements Monitoring contractor performance to ensure compliance work is delivered to agreed standards in relation to quality, budget and customer experience What you'll need to succeed Experience in a compliance, property services, or asset management role Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Ability to manage and update data accurately Confident communicating with contractors and internal teams A proactive and diligent approach to work What you'll get in return Initial 3‑week temporary contract High likelihood of extension 4 days or 5 days per week considered Hybrid work available (approx. 3 days in office, 2 from home), with some flexibility depending on business needs.
