Electrical Manager : Guildford (Critical Site)
Are you a highly experienced and driven Electrical Manager looking for a challenging and rewarding leadership role within a critical environment?
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Electrical Manager to join our team in Guildford. This is a crucial role overseeing all electrical maintenance and operations within a critical site, demanding strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
What Youll Do:
* Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and support.
* Oversee all aspects of electrical maintenance, including preventative and reactive work, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
* Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
* Manage budgets and resources effectively.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Provide technical expertise and support for complex electrical issues.
* Participate in the on:call escalation rota, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Undertake Authorised Person (AP) duties as required.
What Youll Need:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Manager or Supervisor within a critical setting
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent technical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
* Proven experience in managing budgets and resources.
* City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent) : essential.
* 18th Edition wiring regulations knowledge : essential.
* Experience in undertaking AP duties : essential.
* Excellent communication and problem:solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
