Responsibilities
* Cleaning duties throughout the Academy including specialist cleaning during holiday periods such as deep cleans.
* Maintaining health and safety and reporting any concerns to the manager.
* Awareness of COSHH and ensuring chemicals are handled correctly.
* Ensuring practice is in line with Academy policies and procedures.
The Successful Candidate Will
* Be a dedicated team player who develops excellent relationships with students and colleagues.
* Be flexible to changing demands of the post.
* Be driven, motivated, adaptable, resilient, reflective and have a good sense of humour.
* Be punctual and reliable.
* Take pride in a job well done, committed to achieving high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* An understanding of H&S and hygiene are important.
* Willing to undertake any training relevant to the role.
* Trustworthy, maintaining confidentiality at all times in respect of school related matters and to prevent disclosure of confidential and sensitive information.
* Ability to manage time effectively.
* Initiative and the ability to work without supervision, but as part of a team.
