Job Description:
Role: SFA (Surgical First Assistant)
Location: London
Hours: Full-time
Salary: Up to £47,000
A brilliant private hospital based in London is looking for an experienced SFA to join their outstanding team.
As a Surgical First Assistant you will be a fully qualified practitioner with extensive experience in ENT operations.
* Preparing the patient for surgery.
* Confidently handle the tissue and manipulation of organs for access.
* Use retractors competently under the supervision of the surgeon.
* Be able to cut deep sutures and ligatures.
* Assist with wound closure where directed.
* Apply dressings where required.
Requirements:
* You must be an Operating Department Practitioner or Registered Nurse with full NMC/HCPC registration.
* A Post-graduate qualification as a Surgical First Assistant.
* At least 6-months of UK experience as a Scrub/SFA.
* Extensive specialist experience in ENT surgeries.
