Your Mission
As our Learning and Development Manager, you will ignite a culture of continuous learning. You’ll spearhead the design and delivery of an innovative Workforce Development Plan that not only meets CQC requirements but also aligns with national standards from Skills for Care. You’ll ensure that every team memberfrom frontline support workers to senior leadershas access to transformative development opportunities, so creativity and effective collaboration skills are a must.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be based at our Libra House offices in Blackpool, with flexibility to work from home.
* Lead with vision by crafting and executing a bold L&D strategy that supports our mission, meets national workforce goals, and ensures we stay ahead of the curve by linking One Fylde with Skills for Care.
* Empower our people by identifying learning needs across all roles, creating tailored development pathways, and championing a learning culture that inspires growth, confidence, and excellence.
* Deliver impactful programs by designing and rolling out engaging training solutionsfrom hands-on workshops to digital learningand continuously monitoring and evolving our offerings to meet changing needs.
* Maximize resources by managing the L&D budget smartly, ensuring high-quality training within financial parameters, and building strong partnerships with external providers to bring the best to our team.
* Collaborate and influence by working closely with the People Team, Operations, and Senior Managers to embed learning into everyday practice, while supporting leadership development and succession planning across the charity.
Who You Are
* A strategic thinker with a passion for people development
* Experienced in leading L&D in a health, social care, or charity setting
* Knowledgeable about Skills for Care and adult social care workforce standards
* Skilled in budget management and programme evaluation
* A confident communicator and relationship builder
Bonus Points If You Have:
* CIPD Level 5 or higher, or a degree/equivalent qualification in education or a related field
* Experience with digital learning platforms
* Experience working within health & social care settings
* A flair for innovation and creativity in training delivery
