Offer description

Experienced Intensive Support Worker

Hours: Full-Time - Days & Waking Nights
You must have the right to work full-time in the UK. We're not offering a standard support role-we're offering the chance to be part of a specialist team supporting adults with complex needs, autism, learning disabilities, and behaviours that challenge in one of our most intensive care settings.
This role requires a solid foundation of experience, calmness under pressure, and a genuine commitment to making each day better for someone else-no matter how difficult it may be.
As an Intensive Support Worker, you'll provide 1:1 tailored support and help people live life on their own terms-whether that means:
Assisting with daily tasks like cooking, cleaning, or managing health appointments
Supporting individuals to access the community and enjoy hobbies or social events
De-escalating challenging behaviours using your professional knowledge and compassion
Maintaining up-to-date care plans, safeguarding reports, and risk assessments
Practical understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and person-centred care
~ We believe in supporting the people who support others. 27 per hour
~ Fully paid DBS
~ Smart Health App - 24/7 access to GPs, mental health support, and wellbeing resources
~Ongoing professional development: Care Certificate, apprenticeships & specialist training
~ Clear progression paths and internal promotions
~ Aspirations Perks - discounts at high street shops & supermarkets
~ 28 days paid annual leave (incl. bank holidays)
~ £500 refer-a-friend bonus!
~ 2x salary life cover
~ Pension Scheme with NEST
~ 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family

Since 2004, Aspirations Care has been supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions to live a lifestyle that's meaningful to them. We're values-led, inclusive, and proud to be a place where both the people we support-and the staff who support them-can grow, thrive, and succeed.
We celebrate diversity, promote inclusion, and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
