 
        
        Overview
As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for helping to develop, maintain and extend a broad range of .NET based applications covering web, desktop, mobile and backend tooling. We have the full range of .NET technologies in play here - from modern Blazor based web apps to more legacy tech such as WinForms, with everything in between from RESTful API suites delivered (for now) via ASP.NET WebAPI, to middleware components built in Azure Functions and Service Bus.
Responsibilities
 * Assist in developing and maintaining applications using C#, ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
 * Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
 * Help develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support internal and external applications.
 * Work with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
 * Follow coding best practices, including object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.
 * Participate in code reviews, provide feedback to other developers, and collaborate with senior team members.
 * Independently debug and troubleshoot application issues, collaborating with other developers when needed.
 * Learn and apply security best practices, including authentication and authorisation.
 * Collaborate with team members in an Agile development environment.
 * Maintain documentation related to development tasks and application features.
Qualifications
 * 3+ years of experience in C# web development using ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core.
 * Knowledge of SQL Server, including database querying and schema design.
 * Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
 * Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
 * Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
 * Willingness to learn and apply software development best practices.
 * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
 * Good communication and teamwork skills.
 * Exposure to Azure cloud services (preferred).
 * Familiarity with patterns such as Dependency Injection, CQRS and Clean Architecture.
 * Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerisation concepts.
 * Basic experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit.
 * Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
