About the role: Due to ongoing expansion, our client is looking for an experienced Personal Tax Assistant Manager to join their thriving company. Key Responsibilities of the Personal Tax Assistant Manager: Oversee a portfolio of personal tax clients, including company directors, sole traders, high-net-worth individuals, and non-UK residents. Provide remuneration planning and compliance-focused tax advice to clients within the portfolio. Attend client meetings to support relationship management and deliver tax guidance. Advise clients on personal tax liabilities and upcoming payments. Support senior tax managers with a variety of ad hoc advisory projects. Delegate tasks to junior team members, providing guidance to support their professional development. Skills Required: ATT qualified as a minimum. Minimum 5 Years previous experience of Personal Tax in a similar role, ideally at Tax Senior level but would consider Assistant Manager level, with solid personal tax experience of working within an accountancy practice. Strong knowledge of personal tax compliance and relevant legislation. Experience of training junior members and the reviewing of their work. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in tax computations and compliance. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Ability to explain complex tax matters clearly and concisely to clients. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to provide strategic tax advice. Proactive and commercially minded, identifying opportunities for clients and the firm. Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities. A self-motivated approach with strong time management skills.
