What your typical day looks like: Provide autonomous, advanced clinical care
Assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients effectively
Conduct and interpret relevant diagnostic investigations
Initiate specialist referrals where appropriate
Maintain high-quality clinical records in line with best practice
Stay up to date with developments in clinical practice
Work within professional regulatory guidelines and scope of practice
To be a successful Advanced Practitioner you'll need: Professional Registration - NMC, HCPC, or GPhC
Independent Prescriber - Registered as a non-medical prescriber
Education - Minimum of two Level 7 modules, including clinical assessment skills
Experience - Autonomous practice in multi-professional teams
Strong clinical decision-making and assessment skills.
