Supporting People on Probation Navigator - CambridgeshirePermanent£24,000At Forward Trust, we support people on probation across Cambridgeshire to successfully complete their supervision, stop offending, and reach their potential. Our mission is to help individuals rebuild their lives and relationships, within their communities, families, and themselves, so they can move forward to a crime-free future.We’re growing our Supporting People on Probation team and are looking for passionate, people-focused Navigators who want to make a real difference.What You’ll DoAs a Supporting People on Probation Navigator based primarily at the Cambridge Probation Office, you’ll work directly with individuals to help them rebuild their lives and reduce reoffending. You’ll also regularly support the Huntingdon Probation Office, with some travel across the county to Peterborough and Wisbech to ensure a joined-up service for all.In this varied and rewarding role, you will: Deliver 1:1 and group interventions to help individuals understand and overcome barriers in their lifestyle, relationships, and wellbeing Support clients as they transition from custody to community life Work closely with Probation Practitioners to create and deliver action plans Facilitate creative and community-based projects, from music groups to allotment work, football sessions, and more Keep accurate records and ensure every contact mattersA full UK driving licence is desirable as travel between locations is essential. Some evening work may be required.Who You AreYou might come from probation, prisons, the police, or courts. Or perhaps you’re a psychology graduate, counsellor, life coach, teacher, social worker, or health professional.
