Customer Service Administrator
We are recruiting! Join our growing business as Customer Service Administrator. We’re looking for a proactive, organized and customer-focused administrator to join our Operations team.
You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers and engineers, helping to coordinate services, manage communications, and keep our systems running smoothly. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, and you’ll play a key part in delivering excellent service and operational efficiency.
Salary: £27-30k depending on experience
Hours: 40hrs per week, 9am-5pm (some flexibility by negotiation)
Location: Based from our office in Alnwick
Working with our field Operations team to provide an efficient and effective service to our customers
Key Accountabilities
* Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls and email queries, delivering excellent customer service
* Coordinate engineer diaries, service reports, and repairs to ensure timely and efficient work completion
* Maintain and update CRM systems with customer interactions, service history, and project notes
* Monitor service requests, deliveries, and project progress, liaising with internal teams and customers
* Manage financial administration including invoicing, quoting, purchase orders, and chasing outstanding payments
* Support compliance activities and subcontractor onboarding, ensuring accurate records for audits and certifications
* Research and book travel and accommodation for operational staff, focusing on cost and logistical efficiency
* Work closely with the Operations Manager on procedures and initiatives to engage and support the wider Engineering team
