Position Summary
The Senior Quality Control Manager oversees quality assurance in MRO, Surface Treatment, and Assembly & Test within the Operations department. Leading a team of 10-15 quality professionals, the role ensures compliance with quality standards, reduces non-quality costs, and drives continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities
1. Ensure quality standards in MRO, Surface Treatment, and Assembly & Test.
2. Manage and lead a team of 10-15 quality engineers and inspectors.
3. Monitor and reduce non-quality costs, including rejections and reworks.
4. Implement Root Cause and Corrective Actions for quality issues.
5. Analyze and prevent escapes (missed non-conformities).
6. Develop and execute continuous improvement plans.
7. Coordinate quality activities across departments.
8. Conduct internal audits and spot checks.
9. Support external audits for compliance and certification.
10. Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; Master’s preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance in manufacturing.
* Proven leadership skills managing teams of 10-15 quality professionals.
* Expertise in RCCA, quality standards (ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma), and knowledge of EASA/CAA Part 21 & Part 145 is desirable.
* Strong problem-solving, communication, and data analysis skills.
