We are looking to appoint a Principal Building Services Engineer (Electrical) to join our established team in Nottingham. An extensive secured pipeline has created the need for growth within the team.

The successful candidate will join our dynamic team based in our vibrant, centrally located Nottingham office. You will be delivering exceptional technical and commercial solutions to a range of clients across the private and public sectors, including education, custodial, defense, healthcare, and commercial sectors.

Your core responsibilities will include:
1. Project and contract management
2. Preparation and oversight of designs, feasibility studies, reports, and contract documents
3. Carrying out building analysis
4. Liaising directly with clients and contractors
5. Ensuring projects are delivered on time
6. Supporting and mentoring junior engineers and trainees
7. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements, practices, and procedures

About You
Our ideal Principal Building Services Engineer (Electrical) will have:
* HND/Degree or equivalent professional qualification
* Knowledge and understanding of BS7671
* Familiarity with electrical and lighting design software such as Hevacomp, Amtech, Dialux
* Experience with Revit MEP
* Fire alarm and emergency lighting design experience
* Hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD
* Structured wiring system and security system design experience
* Knowledge of current legislation, e.g., Scotland Building Regulations, Low/Zero Carbon Technologies, BREEAM
