Our client, a globally recognised tech and entertainment organisation are looking for a Director level Privacy Counsel to shape and scale a global privacy and digital‑safety programme.
What you’ll do:
* Lead global privacy initiatives across multiple regions
* Act as DPO and drive GDPR compliance
* Partner with product, tech, marketing & leadership teams
* Guide on privacy, digital‑safety and emerging regulations
* Manage and mentor a high‑performing privacy legal team
What you’ll bring:
* 8+ years PQE (or equivalent) with deep experience in privacy and data protection
* Strong knowledge of UK/EU privacy laws (US experience a plus)
* Background advising on privacy in complex, tech‑driven environments
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, international organisation
* Pragmatic, solutions‑driven mindset and strong commercial judgment
* Experience managing teams or senior stakeholders
* Experience in tech, gaming, entertainment, or mobile is advantageous.
