SERVICE CHARGE-We pay our team service charge each month! This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel-every penny received is paid out to the team.
Service charge can be in the region of £305 a month (around £3,600 per year) over and above base pay, for a full time employee.
The hotel may be able to offer on-site staff accommodation in order to help the newest members of the team settle into life at the hotel and local area, plus free parking is available on-site.

Role:
The role of a Head Chef is to be responsible for ensuring that the Kitchen Brigade consistently delivers exceptional food & service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities.
You will be leading the team in the effective delivery of department goals, planning and organising work activities, seeking to continuously improve ways of working and engaging the team to do the same.
Maintaining a safe, healthy and secure workplace environment, following all work protocols and engaging the team with training initiatives.
Building effective relationships to create a positive learning environment will be a key requirement to ensure the success of the department.
Making clear, confident decisions, will be second nature to you, consulting with others where needed.
You will be a natural leader able to deal with the pressure of running a busy operation.
You will be an example to your brigade, a motivator, and strive for quality and perfection in every single dish. You will be confident in running the overall service and a team worker who enjoys sharing knowledge and passion about food.
* To be confident in creating and designing new menus, ensuring that the preparation, presentation and quality of food, is maintained at its highest standards at all times, while proactively delivering a consistent and ongoing product improvement strategy.
* Constantly focus on guest satisfaction and service, keeping abreast of market trends and incorporate, when appropriate, into the business,embracing the fact that everything that is done well improves and enhances the guest experience,
* To manage the Kitchen using your integrity, including staff, Health & Safety, equipment, and any other areas connected with the Department.
* Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
* Develop and execute seasonal menus and daily specials, showcasing your culinary expertise and creativity.
* Train and mentor junior staff members, nurturing their skills and fostering their growth within the organization.
