Join our team as the Event Sales & Planning Executive and you will oversee all short lead meetings from enquiry stage to planning and final details. The role also involves responsibility for some key accounts and involves responding to all short lead email enquiries to establish client requirements before crafting custom proposals, converting the business and communicating final details to the operational events team.
In return, the role of Event Sales & Planning Executive offers £28,000 per annum, plus a sales bonus incentive worth another £2800 per year (paid out quarterly), free meals, an annual complimentary stay with dinner at a De Vere Hotel, plus additional stays for just £50 and a paid day off for your birthday, to name just a few!
Your Skills And Experience
* Experience in hotel event sales, planning, and coordination.
* Confident and able to forge strong working relationships with colleagues and guests through excellent communication skills.
* Familiarity with IT software; knowledge of Opera software is beneficial but not essential as training can be provided.
* Share our values such as warmth, genuine approach, anticipating guest needs, and attention to detail.
