A leading manufacturing company based in Blackburn is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Continuous Improvement Officer to join its team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant Health & Safety regulations while continuously driving performance improvements across the site.

Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain the site's Health & Safety Management System
* Conduct and coordinate risk assessments, audits, and inspections
* Update safety documentation and ensure legal compliance
* Identify training needs and deliver regular health and safety training
* Collaborate with departments to ensure all processes and equipment meet safety standards
* Lead emergency response planning and training
* Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
* Share and implement best practices in health, safety, and continuous improvement
What Were Looking For
* At least 3 years' experience in a Health & Safety role, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong knowledge of ISO 45001 and relevant UK HSE regulations
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
* A proactive approach to identifying risks and driving positive change
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
