Location: Redruth, with frequent visits to our other sites in Truro, Plymouth and Exeter (pool car provided)

What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide first-line and second-line IT support to staff via the helpdesk system.
* Support and troubleshoot issues with Windows 11 desktops and laptops.
* Assist with Windows Server environments, user accounts, and group policies.
* Install, configure, and support printers and other peripherals.
* Support and maintain line-of-business applications.
* Escalate complex issues where necessary while maintaining clear communication with end users.
* Maintain accurate records of support requests and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
* Over time, take ownership of specific IT systems or products, including planning improvements and liaising with suppliers.
* Assist the IT Manager with projects and system upgrades.
What We’re Looking For
* Previous IT support experience (helpdesk, desktop support or similar role).
* Strong knowledge of Windows 11 operating system.
* Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy.
* Printer and peripheral setup and troubleshooting.
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Driving licence and ability to travel between sites if required.
* Exposure to Office 365 / Microsoft 365 administration.
* Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs).
