Experience Required: 12 to 20 Years of relevant experience in Sales/Business Development and Account management experience in Automotive, Embedded and Digital, Engineering Services
Location: Birmingham (UK) - Work from office
Note: The candidate should be currently based in the Europe (as applicable to the role) or must hold a valid work visa for the respective country.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue, margin and DSO targets.
* Own and drive end-to end CONSULTATIVE sales for Automotive Embedded and digital services in the assigned region.
* Develop / Contribute to a go-to-market strategy to grow existing accounts and acquire new clients in Transportation and Mobility (Automotive).
* Generate qualified leads, nurture opportunities, and manage the complete sales lifecycle - from prospecting to contract closure.
* Build and maintain relationships across different levels – including V and C levels – and key decision-makers within target client organizations.
* Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, marketing, and solution teams to craft client-specific value propositions and proposals.
* Drive account mining and farming activities within existing customers to identify new service lines and cross-sell opportunities.
* Maintain a healthy and well-qualified pipeline using CRM tools.
* Provide accurate sales forecasts, competitive intelligence, and market trends to leadership.
* Ensure alignment between client needs and delivery teams for successful project execution and long-term customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
* 12+ years of experience in selling technology/engineering services in Europe (UK), ideally with global delivery models.
* Proven success in account management – within Transportation and Mobility do-main for engineering services.
* Good understanding of embedded systems, digital transformation, product engineering, and IT services.
* Demonstrated ability to engage with senior client stakeholders (CTO, VP Engineering, CIO, etc.).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong analytical skills and experience in preparing proposals and sales forecasts.
* Travelling within Europe
