An internationally recognised, full‑service law firm with a strong London presence is looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to join its collaborative Marketing & BD function. The role sits at the heart of the Corporate and Financial Services groups, partnering closely with senior lawyers, BD leadership, and cross‑departmental specialists to support strategic growth and deepen client relationships.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, intellectually demanding environment — someone who brings initiative, curiosity, and a commitment to delivering measurable impact.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will develop a deep understanding of the firm’s Corporate and Financial Services practices and play a key role in:
* Business development support — contributing to pitches, proposals, client presentations, and RFP responses.
* Client relationship insights — creating reports that help lawyers and BD teams leverage meetings, trips, and engagement data.
* CRM and experience management — tracking client development activity and maintaining relevant deal and matter experience.
* Event coordination — partnering with the events team to deliver high‑quality client events, from logistics to post‑event reporting.
* Budget ownership — leading budget input and reporting for assigned groups.
* Marketing content development — drafting website content, newsletters, brochures, and other materials in collaboration with the content team.
* Awards & directory submissions — coordinating submissions for key rankings, including Chambers.
* Client alerts — managing the full alert process from lawyer liaison to distribution and analytics.
* Mailing list management — developing and maintaining segmented client and prospect lists.
What You’ll Bring
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
* At least two years’ experience in professional services marketing; law firm experience is highly desirable.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
* High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a service‑oriented approach.
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines and operate calmly under pressure.
* Demonstrated proactivity, creativity, and leadership potential.
* Strong MS Office skills; experience with Salesforce, Pardot/Account Engagement, or LinkedIn is a plus.
