We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to support the Restaurant Manager at The Cadogan, London in the daily operations of our prestigious restaurant. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring exceptional service, maintaining the highest standards of quality, and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Main duties & responsibilities:
1. Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing and managing the daily operations of the restaurant.
2. Ensure seamless service and exceptional guest experiences.
3. Supervise and train restaurant staff in accordance with established standards and procedures.
4. Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient workflow and timely food delivery.
5. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the restaurant.
6. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
7. Monitor and manage inventory, including ordering supplies and controlling costs.
8. Implement and maintain effective service standards and procedures.
9. Assist in developing and implementing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
Requirements
10. Proven experience in a similar role in an upscale restaurant or luxury hotel.
11. Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and industry trends.
14. Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
15. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Additional requirements:
16. Degree or diploma in hospitality or related field is preferred.
17. Proficiency in leading restaurant software and point of sale (POS) systems.
18. Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
19. Ability to work well under pressure and handle difficult situations with professionalism.
20. Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
