Are you looking for a caring, people-focused support bank/casual role? Whilst we're busy, we try to have time to spend with our in-patients and their loved ones, giving everyone an individual, people-focused and dignified experience during life and after death.
You'll provide a nursing support role, working within a skilled, multi-disciplinary team, effectively communicating with patients, visitors and colleagues to help to maintain patient wellbeing and comfort.
You'll have experience working in a caring environment, which could come from working in people's homes, care homes or clinical settings, for example. You'll have NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, and be able to work effectively in a varied team, to ensure care is carried out effectively and efficiently, whilst always maintaining a caring, compassionate approach.
Hours will be ad-hoc, based on rota and clinical requirements which are 24/7, 365 days a year with a variety of shifts.

The Kirkwood provide specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, respecting their individual needs and wishes. Care and support are also provided for their family members, friends, and carers, both during the illness and after death. Through education, training, and partnership with others, we improve care for everyone affected by a life limiting illness.
