Technical Sales Manager (Radiation & Scientific Instrumentation)
Oxford / Remote
£75,000-£80,000 + Bonus + £6,000 Car Allowance + Training Budget + Career Progression + Remote Working
Are you a Technical Sales Manager with experience in scientific instrumentation, radiation detection, nuclear technology or healthcare technology, looking for an opportunity where you can combine commercial leadership, customer engagement and technical expertise within a growing specialist business?
On offer is the opportunity to join a market-leading radiological solutions provider delivering radiation instrumentation, calibration, compliance, maintenance and managed service solutions across highly regulated industries. With significant investment in growth, technology and people, this is a key role offering genuine progression into senior leadership positions.
In this role, you will lead commercial growth across HTSL Group's radiation products and services portfolio, developing strategic customer relationships while supporting sales and service teams. You will work closely with technical specialists, operational teams and customers to deliver tailored solutions across instrumentation, calibration, maintenance, compliance and managed service contracts.
This role would suit a Technical Sales Manager, Scientific Instrumentation Sales Manager, Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager or Senior Technical Sales professional with experience operating within radiological, nuclear, scientific or healthcare technology environments.
The Role
* Drive sales growth across radiation instrumentation and service solutions
* Develop and expand strategic customer relationships
* Lead commercial activity including quotations, tenders and framework agreements
* Promote calibration, maintenance and managed service contracts
* Support and develop commercial and service teams
* Work closely with technical and operational departments to deliver customer solutions
* Manage sales forecasts, CRM activity and pipeline reporting
* Represent the business at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events
The Person
* Experience within radiation, scientific instrumentation, nuclear or healthcare sectors
* Strong technical understanding of instrumentation and regulated environments
* Proven background in technical sales, account management or commercial leadership
* Experience selling both products and service-based solutions
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Commercially minded with a customer-focused approach
* Full UK Driving Licence
