We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Warren Hill, a Male Prison located in Woodbridge.
In this role, you'll be working with a supportive multi-disciplinary team.
Hours
The site offers shifts Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays:
* Mon - Fri: 07:30 - 19:30
* Sat - Sun: 07:30 - 17:30
You will be expected to work 1 in 3 weekends, with hours routinely worked over 4 days.
Salary
This is a full-time position with an annual salary up to £43,000, depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities include:
* Working within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver nurse-led services and prevent hospital admissions
* Undertaking medication rounds, dispensing controlled medication, attending emergency situations, assessing patients, and conducting reception screening
* Delivering nurse-led clinics supported by a multi-disciplinary team

Qualifications & Experience Required
* Registered nurse (Adult)
* Current professional qualification (NMC)
* Understanding of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
* Compassionate, non-judgmental approach
* Knowledge of clinical governance, health & safety, QOF, EBP, and standards
