Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Mixologist to join our latest Meraki restaurant group project.
A complete refurbishment of our Hamilton restaurant includes the arrival of the amazing Vesper Bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and a flair for creating innovative cocktails that delight our guests. As a Mixologist, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, providing exceptional service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This opportunity is driven towards mixologists with a desire to create, and not cut corners by using ready made products. Combining a need for great preparation with show stopping presentation through the use of molecular gastronomy,blending, and liquid witchcraft.
Responsibilities
● Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, and soft drinks.
● Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
● Engage with customers to provide recommendations and create personalised drink experiences.
● Assist in ordering or requesting supplies as needed.
● Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
● Uphold high standards of customer service in line with the establishment's values.
Requirements
● Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
● Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of patrons.
● Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
● Mixology experience is a must, previous restaurant experience is advantageous..
● Excellent time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently.
● A creative mindset to develop new cocktail recipes and presentations that enhance the guest experience.
The successful candidate will be available at evenings and weekends and be offered a salary of up to £26.5k comprising of wage plus gratuites, dependant on experience.
