The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated team and lead a mixed Year 1 and year 2 class at St Michaels C of E Primary School.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning. You'll create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. With a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, you'll confidently assess pupil progress and adapt your teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
Experience in teaching mixed-year groups is desirable, and we welcome candidates who understand how to support children with SEND within a mainstream classroom. An interest or experience in British Sign Language would be a fantastic addition to our inclusive ethos. We also value a solid understanding of phonics teaching, ideally using the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised programme.
We're seeking someone with Qualified Teacher status who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to building strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
St Michaels C of E Primary School is part of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust where our schools work in partnership to fulfil our belief that together, we can build a brighter future for our children. We are looking for a new member of staff to embrace and support our schools in creating an environment where the children have the opportunity to be the best they can be. The Trust is committed to fully supporting our staff through a range of CPD opportunities.
The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust is committed to the safeguarding of our students and the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
