To deliver LifeSearch's Purpose "To Protect People Properly" and our challenging transformation and growth plans by supporting the smooth and efficient running of the full 'Searcher life cycle. This role focuses on all aspects of HR administration, from onboarding to the leaver process and everything in between. Key to the success of this role is carrying out all processes efficiently and professionally, with a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and quality.



There will also be a requirement to be proactive in supporting the wider P&C team with projects and process and systems improvements.




Responsibilities

* Be an ambassador of our culture and values at all times, inside and outside our business.
* Prepare onboarding documentation for nonoperational roles including preparing candidate correspondence, drafting offer letters and contracts of employment.
* Complete all change of terms letters and log relevant updates to the HR system and payroll process.
* Complete the leavers process including letters, payroll process and systems requirements.
* Responsible for the cyclical payroll processes, collating and checking P&C data, then liaising with payroll to process accurately and in a timely manner each month.
* Responsible for the monthly reporting of Absence for payroll and MI reporting purposes, following up with Leaders for transactional queries or alerting Business Partners to larger concerns.
* Support Business Partners with the creation of documents relating to performance management such as invite and outcome letters, meeting notes & creating evidence packs.
* Respond to all references, employment, regulated FCA and tenancy/mortgage requests in a timely manner, liaising with the Business Partners as required.
* Support the team with team based transactional activities such as the annual benefits renewal and the holiday buy/roll/sell process.
* Facilitate ad hoc and longerterm regulatory checking requirements such as background and financial checks, and the SMCR fit and proper and onboarding processes.
* Proactive in understanding our employmentrelated policies and a basic understanding of legislation and their impact across the P&C function to support the Business Partners with low level enquiries.
* Ensure all recordkeeping and systems are kept up to date and in line with GDPR and company policies ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times.
* Provide administrative support for P&C related projects, engagement activities, and policy updates as required.
* Take a proactive and qualitydriven approach to improving processes and supporting 'Searchers championing our culture and values at all times.
* Champion our employer brand with content creation for our internal and external communication channels and social media platforms, as appropriate.
* Support the wider team in the idea creation and delivery of our Awareness Activities plan each year - on topics such as health & wellbeing, financial education and diversity
* Develop an external network to keep up to date in your knowledge, skillset and to keep our business one step ahead of competitors
* Collaborate with P&C colleagues to support a 'one team' approach so our business achieves its collective goals
* Hold all colleagues to account for doing what they say they would and have Courageous Conversations to improve things when they don't
* To deliver on all Consumer Duty obligations (to act in good faith, to avoid causing foreseeable harm and to enable and support retail customers to pursue their financial objectives). Ensure that every action you take supports the delivery of the best customer outcomes



Knowledge, Skills and Experience

* Previous experience in an HR administration role or similar.
* Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Confident using HR systems, Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word), and other IT tools.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Professional, approachable, and able to build positive relationships at all levels.
* Confidence and influencing skills to challenge and push back when required
* Discreet and trustworthy, with a strong understanding of confidentiality.
* A proactive team player with a qualitydriven mindset.




Desirable

* Familiarity with payroll processes and data input.
* Previous use of an HR system.
* Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment law basics.
* Experience supporting HR projects or process improvements.
