The Role We are looking for passionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our hardworking team. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, support pupils with their learning, and help maintain a positive and safe classroom environment. One of the roles will involve working very closely to support a child with additional needs and may involve some support over the lunchtime. Key Responsibilities: Assisting the teacher in planning and delivering engaging learning activities. Working with individuals or small groups to boost progress in reading, writing, and maths. Preparing classroom resources and setting up equipment. Helping to manage classroom behaviour and supporting students' social and emotional growth. Providing targeted interventions and feedback to pupils under the teacher’s guidance. What We Are Looking For: Relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent (e.g., NVQ Level 2). Experience working with children in a primary school setting. Strong numeracy and literacy (GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above are highly desirable). A caring, patient, and proactive approach. A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
