Bank Physiotherapy Technician - Springfield Hospital – Bank Hours
The role
Under guidance of the orthopaedic outpatient therapy team you will complete initial therapy assessments, provide interventions and facilitate discharge planning for a designated caseload of patients. You will support the team with administrative duties and partake in the delivery of group exercise and rehabilitation treatment programmes. Experience as a therapy assistant or in a hospital/caring rehabilitation environment is essential. This position offers an opportunity to work with a range of experienced staff as part of a wider, multidisciplinary team on the ward. It may be suitable for those looking to broaden knowledge and skills or who plan to train as a Physiotherapist in the future. The physiotherapy department delivers a structured in-service training programme, underpinned by regular clinical supervision, mentoring, and peer support.

Where you will be based
Our hospital is located on the outskirts of Chelmsford with ample free parking onsite. We also offer outreach clinics in Southend and Brentwood, enabling access to expert consultants and diagnostics close to home. We work with over 200 experienced consultants locally, many with substantive NHS posts. Our consultants are supported by a team of skilled nursing staff and a Resident Medical Officer on site 24 hours a day.
