Job Overview
An innovative and exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Band 3 Healthcare Support Workers to join our team in Clinical Investigation Unit, Ninewells Hospital, with a rotation to Clinical Investigation Unit in PRI. The successful applicant will be expected to work autonomously under the supervision of the RN. This post is also open to current band 2 Health care support workers who wish to work towards a Band 3.
Responsibilities
You should possess evidence of continued learning across the 4 pillars, preferably having gained SCQF qualifications appropriate to your current healthcare setting. This is a chance to fully develop and further enhance skills and knowledge you may already possess. You should be energetic and interested in developing further within the role. You must have the ability to work with people and as part of a multi‑disciplinary team as well as the ability to reprioritise your workload due to unpredictable demand. This role will involve rotational work within Clinical Investigation Units across both sites. You will be expected to have completed and possess excellent working knowledge of the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Qualifications
Energetic, eager to develop within the role, capable of working with people in a multi‑disciplinary team, able to reprioritise workload, and have evidence of continued learning across the 4 pillars.
Working Hours
Hours of work are: 30.0 per week (0.8 WTE) (2 posts)
