Responsibilities
* Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
* Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
* Serve food and beverages in accordance with established standards of service.
* Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety regulations.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
* Support catering events as needed, contributing to the overall success of the service provided.
Skills
* Previous experience in a restaurant, cafe or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in catering services, including food preparation techniques.
* Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
* Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
* Barista experience is an advantage, particularly in coffee preparation and service.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
