This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, with a view to becoming permanent from September. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach Computer Science and Programming across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level Computer Science for the right applicant. What You’ll Be Doing: • Deliver engaging Computer Science and Programming lessons across KS3–KS5 • Plan and teach lessons that develop computational thinking and coding skills • Encourage curiosity and confidence in using technology creatively and responsibly • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance digital learning across the school • Foster an inclusive classroom where all students can achieve and thrive What We’re Looking For: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a recognised teaching qualification • Experience teaching Computer Science in UK secondary schools • Strong programming knowledge — Python, Java, or similar languages • A passion for technology, innovation, and preparing students for the digital future • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills • A collaborative and forward-thinking approach to education Why Choose Gold Education Recruitment?
